Quarterly Open ASAC Forums

• Elected members to hold open meetings on 6/26, 8/28, 10/23

• The May 22^nd meeting will be open to the public – the committee will deal with the agenda and ask for public input.

• Committee will present two proposals
1) The group agrees to move forward with the current draft of the appeals process and will review in one year or sooner if necessary.

2) Propose the Board create a personnel committee to address staff concerns about CEO.

• Review preamble proposed by Lynette. Include that producers/techs be given written warning.
• Review current procedures to ensure producers understand resource allotment.
• Agree to move forward with what is written.

• ASAC members want it to be reinstated.
• Diana George to spearhead coming up with the criteria for the tape program to be presented to the board.
• Include free dubs as part of tape program.

• Handed out specs.
• Members prefer to have the studio sooner versus bigger

• Cable modem fees – not part of access funds. Oceanic can keep the monies held in escrow. Current loss of revenue is $400,000.00.

• Kealii reviewed how in-house e-mail worker works.
• Lynette suggested we switch to Yahoo and will add all ASAC members.

• All bays to be converted to Bay 1
